Bite-Sized Beats #6: Past to the Blast

6 Oct

So this is where I decided to do a little bit of rare apologizing, readers.  I’ve been a bit silent on the internet-waves as of late, partly because I just got a sparkling new computer, and it decided to not come with wi-fi (it’s 2012, you’d think at this point condoms would have wi-fi, much less a brand-new computer).  That being the case, getting on the internet has been…a bit of a challenge.

The other half of the equation is a poorly-timed birthday visit to Lexington, KY to see my little sister.  Don’t go to Lexington, people.  The “highlight” of that city was the freaking mall, which we managed to visit a whopping 4 times in as many days.  If that doesn’t tell you something about that god-forsaken city, I don’t know what will.  Also go UK Volleyball.  They’re good at digs and kills and spikes and holy crap this is the most violent sounding sport of all time if you just read the stats.

To make up for it, here’s your bite-sized beat of the week.  It’s a bit of a nostalgia trip for me, since I remember a whole lot of birthdays that ended with me unwrapping boxes with the words MEGA MAN on them.  Xavier “mv” Dang probably spent a lot of his birthing days the same way, and that’s why he decided to make a soundtrack to a game that doesn’t even exist yet.  The track is War Field (Dr. Wily Stage 1), and it’s off the Mega Man 11 Soundtrack Project: war-field-dr-wily-stage-1-2
